Placenta Encapsulation

Whether your are delivering at a local hospital, at our birth center, or with another local midwife, we are happy to offer placenta encapsulation to our community.

Placenta encapsulation is not for everyone, but for those that choose it most say they would do it again, and always will with future pregnancies. With reports of mood stabilization, faster recoveries, and increased milk supply consuming your placenta can be of great benefit.

Our encapsulation services include a print of your placenta and a cord keepsake. We process all of our placentas with the raw method, and use everything except the cord (which we use for the keepsake). We also offer a tincture of your placenta for a small additional fee. Every placenta is processed in a clean and sterilized kitchen, with the use of proper PPE. We then hand wash, bleach bath, and sterilize everything used and every surface – for your safety, as well as for ours.
